Born and raised in the small Missouri River town of Yankton, SD. Fell in love with photography as an undergrad at the University of Minnesota. Graduated from Kent State University with a degree in Photo Illustration. Migrated back to Minneapolis with a wife to-be, plenty of school debt, and a kitten named Almost. Worked awhile as a freelance commercial photographer's assistant. Discovered commercial was too commercial. Started The Traveling Photo Booth® with a college pal. Currently rent photo booths and when time permits, photograph the ordinary.
